About Assistly
Assistly is a nonprofit, private job-matching platform connecting Indian Hill families with school-verified students — now welcoming members to our founding Pilot Program.
Our mission
Assistly is a Non-Profit organization. At Assistly, we believe finding trusted help in your community shouldn't be difficult. Our platform connects families with reliable, motivated high school students for everyday needs like babysitting, pet care, tutoring, yard work, and more.
As Indian Hill High School Seniors, we believe in creating community. We created Assistly to make it easier for families to find dependable help while giving students flexible opportunities to gain experience, build skills, and earn money around their school and extracurricular schedules. Every connection is built on trust, safety, and community.
Our goal is simple: strengthen local communities by making it easier for neighbors to help neighbors.
Pilot Program
We're recruiting 50 student helpers and 15 Indian Hill families by September 15 to help us test, improve, and shape the future of Assistly before our official launch.
By joining the Assistly Pilot Program, you'll have the unique opportunity to help build a platform designed specifically for the Indian Hill community. Your feedback will directly influence new features, improve the user experience, and help us create the safest and most effective platform possible.
Meet the team
Co-Founder
Hi! My name is Lauren Zaring, and I am the Co-Founder of Assistly. I'm passionate about leadership, entrepreneurship, and creating meaningful impact within my school and community. As a senior at Indian Hill High School, I'm involved across campus — from the Student Leadership Team and student government to DECA, varsity soccer, and serving as Co-President of Women in Business. Through these experiences, I've seen how important it is for students to have flexible ways to grow, contribute, and connect. That perspective inspired me to help build Assistly, a platform designed to support students with real opportunities while giving families a reliable way to find help rooted in community.
Co-Founder
Hi! My name is Charlotte Picton, and I am the Co-Founder of Assistly. I'm driven by a deep passion for community, inclusion, and creating meaningful opportunities for students. Through my work on the Experienceships Advisory Board, the Unified Partners Club, and years of caregiving for families, I've seen how powerful it is when people feel supported and connected. As a varsity golfer, former soccer player, and Leadership Cincinnati Youth Committee graduate, I've learned the value of trust, teamwork, and showing up for others. These experiences inspired me to help build Assistly — a platform designed to make finding local help simple, safe, and rooted in community. My hope is to create a space where students can grow and families can feel confident knowing they have support they can rely on.
What we stand for
Every feature — from school email verification to background checks to post-match-only messaging — exists because safety is not a checkbox. It's the whole point.
Assistly is for Indian Hill. Not eventually Indian Hill — now. We are not trying to be in every city. We are trying to be indispensable to one community first.
Part-time work builds character, financial literacy, and confidence. We take it seriously that students are trusting this platform to connect them with real, fair opportunities.
When a family hires through Assistly, they should feel certain they've done everything right. That certainty is what we are building toward with every safeguard we add.
