Building a Safe, Respectful, and Trusted Community

Assistly is a school-supported community referral network operated by students of Indian Hill High School. Our mission is to strengthen communities by connecting families with trusted student helpers while fostering responsibility, leadership, service, and real-world workplace skills.

The safety and well-being of every participant is our highest priority. Every participant — including students, parents, families, volunteers, school partners, and Assistly staff — shares responsibility for creating a community built on trust, transparency, respect, and accountability.

By participating in Assistly, you agree to comply with this Community Standards, Safety & Code of Conduct Policy.

Safe Meeting Guidelines

To protect both students and families:

First-Time Meetings

Whenever practical:

Transportation

Student helpers may not:

Transportation to and from a task remains the responsibility of the student and parent or guardian unless separately arranged.

Overnight Work

Assistly does not permit:

Work Location

Tasks should normally occur at the verified Assistly address. If work must occur elsewhere, parents or guardians should be informed before the task begins.

Appropriate Adult Interaction

Adults participating in Assistly agree to:

Safe Work Environment

Families may not request students to perform work involving:

Students should immediately decline any prohibited task.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Participants agree to:

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Assistly has zero tolerance for conduct that threatens the safety, dignity, or well-being of participants.

Harassment & Bullying

Sexual Harassment & Inappropriate Conduct

Retaliation

Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern, participates in an investigation, requests assistance, or supports another participant is strictly prohibited.

Reporting Safety Concerns

Participants should immediately report:

Good-faith reports are encouraged and will not result in retaliation.

Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency:

Assistly is not an emergency response service.

Participant Acknowledgment

By participating in Assistly, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read and understand this Community Standards, Safety & Code of Conduct Policy.
  • Agree to follow these standards and safety guidelines.
  • Will maintain respectful and appropriate interactions with all participants.
  • Will immediately report safety concerns or policy violations.
  • Understand that Assistly is a referral platform and does not supervise individual services or interactions between participants.
  • Understand that violations of this policy may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal from the Assistly platform.
